Blackjack is easily one of the most popular casino card games today, in both online and land-based casinos. Sic Bo is a fast and exciting game that originated in ancient China. The game is played using three dice and offers payouts of up to 150-to-1.
The dice are shaken in a special basket or cup, or sometimes using a special automatic shaker machine, with outcomes based on the combinations of the three dice. The payout combinations are listed on the Sic Bo table that is in some casinos and online gaming sites lit from underneath to display the winning combinations.
Players can place any number of bets on the Sic Bo table and after all bets have been made, the dealer will roll or shake the dice. Then all losing bets will be taken off the table by the dealer and winning combinations will be paid out according to the table.
The most common bets are the Big and Small bets, Big meaning that the total of the dice will be between 11 and 17, while Small bets that the total will be between 4 and 10. Specific totals of the three dice can also be bet on, with varying odds between 50-to-1 and 5-to-1.
It is also possible to bet that all three dice will come up with a specific number, or that only two dice will carry the same number. A simple bet is that any one of the three dice will roll a specific number which pays even money.
The Sic Bo table is marked with the numbers four to seventeen, which represent bets that the total of the three dice will equal one of these numbers, with odds ranging from 50-to-1 to 6-to-1.
